Hades 2 Collaborative Project

We are thrilled to finally share with you the result of our latest collaboration - Melinoe from the upcoming Hades 2 game! This project was a true team effort and we couldn't be more proud of what we have achieved together.

For this project, we combined our 3D modelling, printing, and finishing expertise with the sewing patterns by IndigoJinjo, photography by Thomas from Magic Missile Studios, and our very own illustris_cosplay. It was a true pleasure to work with such talented individuals and bring this character to life in our own unique way.

Melinoe is a fascinating character from Hades 2, and we wanted to make sure we captured all of her iconic elements in our cosplay. Her weaponry, a dagger and sickle, were particularly important to get right, as they are a key part of her design. Our 3D models of these weapons were printed and finished to match the game design rather than the cinematic trailer design, resulting in a realistic and accurate portrayal of Melinoe's weapons.

IndigoJinjo's work was essential in bringing the Melinoe cosplay to life, particularly in the creation of the costume's draped skirt and gathered halter-neck bodice. Their expertise in sewing patterns allowed for a seamless process in creating the costume pieces, ensuring that each element fit together perfectly. The patterns were intricately designed to capture the detailed nuances of Melinoe's clothing, from the ruched skirt to the structure layers of the bodice. IndigoJinjo's meticulous attention to detail in their work was a perfect complement to our commitment to accuracy and quality. We are tremendously grateful for their invaluable contribution to this collaboration!

One of the most exciting elements of this collaboration was the set design by Thomas from Magic Missile Studios. He sourced a stunning 1.3m diameter cauldron that was a centerpiece of the shoot, and included practical smoke effects that added an extra layer of realism to the photos. It was a true delight to work with someone who shares our passion for bringing characters to life.
