Ingrid from God of War: Ragnarok
God of War: Ragnarok is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2022, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to model one of the weapons from the game. Atreus's sword, Ingrid, caught our eye from the moment it appeared on screen. We knew that it would be a challenge to recreate, but we were excited to take it on.
The first thing we noticed about Ingrid was the incredible amount of detail in the hilt and pommel. We spent close to 100 hours modeling these details, which are only about 1.5mm wide. There are hundreds of these tiny details, and Fusion 360's body count ended up being over 700. Despite the challenge of modeling these details, we were determined to create a replica that was as accurate and beautiful as possible.
One of the things that we love about Ingrid is its elegant design. We wanted to ensure that our replica was not only accurate, but also easy to print and assemble. We were happy to find that Ingrid turned out to be a very easy print. It can be printed on 220x220x250mm printers, and all of the minute details are printable on FDM printers at 0.12mm layer height.
We're thrilled to see that our work on Ingrid has been well-received. We've already sold numerous printed kits, and have even been commissioned for full accessory kits for Atreus from both God of War 3 and Ragnarok as a result of this product release. We're proud of the work we've done on Ingrid, and we're excited to continue creating high-quality replicas of weapons and accessories from our favorite games and movies.
