Gwen Star Guardian Scissors 3D Printed Kit - League of Legends Cosplay Prop

Star Guardian Gwen scissors from League of Legends! This is the physical print in PLA Filament, and requires sanding, painting & assembly.

The scissors measure approx. 160cm, are designed to hinge in the centre, and have internal channels modelled in for dowels to add strength to the internal structure (we recommend using aluminium rods to reduce weight).

TOP BLADE
- 1x 6.3mm (1/4 inch) diameter rod, 102.5cm in length (main length of prop)
- 1x 6.3mm (1/4 inch) diameter rod, 15cm in length (blade tip)
- 2x 6.3mm (1/4 inch) diameter rod, 14cm in length (upper wings)
- 2x 6.3mm (1/4 inch) diameter rod, 9.5cm in length (lower wings)
- 1x 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter rod, 15cm in length (outer handle)
- 1x 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter rod, 19cm in length (hinge alignment)
- 1x 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter rod, 21cm in length (blade 4 alignment)

BOTTOM BLADE
- 1x 6.3mm (1/4 inch) diameter rod, 94cm in length (main length from handle to mid-blade)
- 1x 6.3mm (1/4 inch) diameter rod, 30cm in length (lower length of blade)
- 1x 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter rod, 19cm in length (outer handle)
- 1x 10mm (3/8 inch) diameter rod, 25cm in length (hinge/blade 4 area)

HINGE ASSEMBLY NOTES:
1. You will require another 10mm rod with a length of 6.8-7cm for the hinge axis.
2. This rod will need to be aluminium or steel. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. A wooden dowel will NOT be strong enough.
3. Assemble your scissors into Top Blade and Bottom Blade. Attach the gem to Blade Upper. Do NOT attach the gem to Blade Lower. Do NOT confuse the gems for the two.
4. Glue the hinge rod into BLADE UPPER & BLADE UPPER GEM.
5. Slot Blade Lower onto hinge rod. DO NOT GLUE.
6. Carefully glue HIDDEN HINGE CAP onto hinge rod. Try not to use too much glue here - any drips could cause leakage that will inhibit articulation.
7. Once these are dry and you've checked the scissors hinge (they will come to a stop where the lower blade handle hits the wing of the upper blade)
8. Finally, glue BOTTOM BLADE GEM in place. DO NOT glue to HIDDEN HINGE CAP (there should be a 1-2mm gap between them). Glue ONLY to the inside of the BOTTOM BLADE HINGE. Once again, too much glue here can drip and inhibit articulation.
