Gwen's Hallowed Mist Scissors & Needles from League of Legends! This listing is for the digital .STL files ONLY.

The total length of the scissors when built is approx. 190cm, and the needles are approx. 50cm - feel free to scale up the needles as desired! All the blade sections (and needle sections) are modelled to be printed on 25cm tall printers, however, the larger sections such as the handles and two of the diamond details can only be printed on printers 35x35cm and above.

The scissors are modelled with various internal slots for 6.5mm aluminium rods (down the length of the blades, at the joins of the handles, where the diamonds connect, etc.) and also have a hole through the blades and partway through the two "cap" sections for a 12mm dowel or rod. This rod is designed to be glued into the "cap" sections but NOT the blades - as long as you're careful with the glue here, the blades should be able to open and close! Likewise, the needles are also modelled for 6.5mm aluminium rods down the centre for more stability (when scaling the needles up, this measurement will change, so you'll have to figure out your dowel/rod sizes after printing if you scale them up!)

By our estimations, she clocks in 800 print hours using 3-4kg of filament: this is printing at 20% infill using Cura's tree supports. You could save materials and print hours by dropping the infill to 10-15% in sturdier areas such as the diamonds and the chunkier sections of the blades, however, we strongly recommend 20% infill on the handles and the thin sections of the blades (closer to the tip) just to make the prop stronger.
