Finished & Painted Commissions

Commissioned by @lunariz.a, along with some small accessories (modelled & printed) for the rest of the cosplay.

Base sword modelled from scratch in Fusion360, then each individual "stone" detail along the blade as well as the handle & crossguard were then hand-textured in Zbrush. Gems & gold detailing along the blade were resin printed, while the main body of the sword is PLA filament with an aluminium core for strength.

Mask cystom modelled and scaled to fit commissioner with holes for mask elastic over the ears. The mask and dagger were modelled from scratch in Fusion 360, then finished and painted by both airbrushing and handpainting. Dagger has an aluminium core for strength.

Commissioned bt @itsmomohoney, along with some small accessories for the rest of their cosplay. 

Twinkle Bell was modelled from scratch in Fusion360, with the wings, star, gem, and gem housing all printing separately. These pieces were resin printed, with the gem in particular being printed in clear resin that was hand-dyed with alcohol inks. The bell section of the Twinkle Bell was modelled hollow, and the faux ringer unscrews to hold lights. 

Completed July 2024. 

The Moon Kaleidoscope was specifically modelled and scaled in order to house fairy lights that would be powered by a cylindrical USB powerbank. The pommel of the handle is modelled with threads so it can unscrew one can access the powerbank to unplug and recharge it! The prop was printed entirely in resin for both strength and transparency, then hand painted, airbrushed and finished with mother-of-pearl paint on the feathers.

Commissioned as a set in 2024, these keyblades both have odd geometries that made them challenges in different ways. 

Modelled from scratch in Fusion360 with particular emphasis on ease of finishing & painting (chainlinks on Oblivion print separately) and added strength (Oathkeeper is split to print in specific print orientations to make it less fragile). Oathkeeper is painted with a range of colours and gradients via airbrushing and handpainting, while Oblivion was artfully drybrushed and weathered by hand with vinyl detailing on the centre diamond.
