LINK Old Wooden Shield STL Files [The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom]

The shield measures at approx. 50cm from top to bottom. We’ve tried to offset as many of the seams as possible to help add strength, but due to the size (and resulting weight) of the shield these seams may be quite tricky to glue. Because of this we recommend using a strong adhesive such as 2-part epoxy!

Due to the size of this model, it is only printable on 30cm tall print beds. Additionally, the damaged shield file are quite beefy due to all the texturing - we found that Cura may lag/freeze when slicing, but Prusa slicer likes it a lot more! PLEASE NOTE: if your computer has low processing power, it may struggle to slice the damaged version. As for supports, we recommend using Cura Trees or Prusa Organic supports!

As for the holes along the seams of the shield sections, these are modelled specifically to house 5x25mm metal rods/keys. We purchase these ones but you may be able to find them at your local hardware store as well! We always try to model for keys and dowels at a standard, global size to make sure all the pieces you need to build your prop are easily accessible.
